The project is aimed to develop Unicode based Bangla (Bengali) tools to help web development. Primary tools include keyboard interpreter according to Bijoy, Avro Phonetic (incomplete) layout etc. and converters to convert from conventional bangla (ASCII based) to Unicode & vice versa

NOTE: Avro Phonetic is still under developement.

Keyboard shortcuts:

• To type English press Ctl+Alt+E or Num-Lock.
• To type Bangla in Bijoy layout press Ctl+Alt+B.
• To type Bangla in Somewhere in Phonetic layout press Ctl+Alt+P.
• To type Bangla in Avro Phonetic layout press Ctl+Alt+A. Note, this is still in development phase.
• To type Bangla in Unijoy layout press Ctl+Alt+U.

Conversion from/to conventional Bangla (ASCII based):

• Conventional Bangla to Unicode
  If you want to convert from Bijoy 2001, Somewhere-in-text or Boisakhi Bangla to Unicode Bangla paste the text in the second text box at the bottom. Select the appropriate option in top of the second text box and then press "Insert into Unicode Editor" Button.


• Unicode to conventional Bangla
  If you want to convert to Bijoy 2001, Somewhere-in-text or Boisakhi Bangla from Unicode Bangla paste the Unicode text in the first text box or type it in. Then select the appropriate conventional Bangla text mode you want from the list at the top of the second text box as you did for conventioanl Bangla conversion. Then click "Convert Back into Conventional Bangla" to convert to conventional Bangla format.


• Conventioanl Bangla to another conventional Bangla format
  If you want to convert from Bijoy to Boisakhi or vice versa. First convert it to Unicode and then convert it back again in Boisakhi or Bijoy.
